Natalie Portman - 61st International Cannes Film Festival
The 61st International Cannes Film Festival has opened. Founded in 1946, The Cannes Film Festival is held every May and is one of the world's biggest, influential and prestigious festivals. The most prestigious award given out at Cannes is the Palme d'Or ("Golden Palm") for the best film.
This year's opening movie was Blindness, a drama/thriller from Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles known from movies such as City of God and The Constant Gardener. The movie stars Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo.
It's been a while since I last posted pics of actress Natalie Portman so I decided to focus on her in today's post. The pictures are taken from the Blindness premiere last night. Natalie is a also a member of this year's jury lead by actor Sean Penn. I also added a couple of HQ's taken at a jury introduction. Check back for more pics from the Blindness premiere.
