One of my all-time favorite games, the long-running series Heroes of Might & Magic will soon be back with it's fifth installment. I don't want to know how many hours I have spent in front of the heroes games, but one thing is for sure, it's many. However, I was a little bit disappointed with Heroes IV (and many with me) and the fact that this upcoming fifth game isn't produced by New World Computing makes it very interesting to see how the new game will look and feel.
Instead, Heroes of Might & Magic V is produced by the Russian company Nival Interactive. One good thing about changing producer is that it will probably add new fresh blood to the series but on the downside, there's a risk that the heroes concept might change too much.
Nival promised though, they're going to keep most of the gameplay (that made the series famous from the earlier games) intact. If you take a look at the screenshots below you can see one of the biggest changes, the new 3D graphics engine.
To find out more about the new additions and changes in Heroes V, check out Gamespot's Q & A with Alexander Mishulin from Nival. Also, the new official homepage opened up a while ago, be sure to check it out by clicking here.
It's been a while since I last saw anything new from Elisha Cuthbert. She starred in this years horror flick House of Wax together with Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton. She's also appearing in both Captivity and The Quiet planned for a 2006 release.
Here she is (looking great as always) at William Rast's Clothing Line Launch yesterday.
