E3 2006 / Just My Luck Premiere

E3, the world's largest annual trade show for the computer and video games industry is held in LA at the moment. This is a perfect opportunity for Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to reveal their latest hardware and software products. I know for sure Xbox 360 is going to get tough competition when Sony's Playstation 3 is released this November. To make it even worse for Microsoft, Nintendo's latest console called wii with it's unique new controller is also planned for a fall release.

If we take a look at the software, Sony promised new installments in the Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo series. Nintendo on the other hand lay their hopes on new versions of Super Mario, Zelda and Metroid Prime. Microsoft presented new information on Bungie's Halo 3. For a complete E3 coverage (information, screens & movies) go visit Gamespot's special E3 site.

I posted a bunch of high quality pictures of Lindsay Lohan on my other blog DarkEyez HQ yesterday. They were taken at MTV's Total Request Live and Lindsay was promoting her latest comedy called Just My Luck which opens up in two days. The movie tells the story of a young New York girl (Lohan) known to have an exceptional luck and at a masquerade ball meets Jake (who on the other hand has the worst luck). After a kiss they soon discover that she and Jake swapped luck. Jake is played by Chris Pine known from The Princess Diaries 2. More information about the movie available at the official homepage. Here's a couple of pics from yesterday's Just My Luck premiere...

PlayStation 3 is going to be great. Blu-ray isn't Betamax as many say, it will truly be a format that people use. It has so many advantages over Microsoft and Nintendo. Over the Xbox 360, PS3 will have motion detection in the controllers, a 60 GB HD, blu-ray playing (those will cost 700+ when they come out), exclusivity in games, better processor, and the fan base. I can't wait.
