Faces of War preview / Tatu photoshoot
Over the last couple of years there's been a lot of World War II based games released on the PC. Most of them in the first person shooter category (Call of Duty & Brothers in Arms) but also strategy titles like Axis & Allies and D-Day. Problem is, if you are a game developer, how do you come up with new fresh idea to a WW2 game? It looks like Best Way from Ukraine might have the solution. Their latest real-time startegy game Faces of War looks promising. Instead of as in most RTS games where you build bases and units, FoW focus on a single squad of infantry. You control your men by giving them commands like attack, take cover or use objects/vehicles.
The game's graphics are excellent - Beautiful rendered, very detailed and it is possible to blow up most of sceneries. FoW will have three single-player campaigns and a bunch of multi-player modes when it's being released later this year. Read more about the game at the official homepage. I recently found this photoshoot of the Russian group tATu. Their latest two singles "All about us" and "Friend or Foe" are quite catchy. Anyway, the pictures are of great quality...
