Ultraviolet promo stills
Milla Jovovich seems of late to be more or less stuck in the thriller/sci-fi genre. She starred in Luc Besson's The Fifth Element from 1997 and more recently in Resident Evil and it's sequel Apocalypse. Her character Alice will return later this year in the final (?) movie in the Resident Evil series called Afterlife. But before that, Milla will star in yet another sci-fi/thriller: Ultraviolet.
The movie is set in the late 21st century where genetically modified humans with a vampire-like disease (called Hemophagia) is in war with the "normal" humans. Ultraviolet's (played by Milla) mission is to help protect a young boy who is wanted dead by the human government because he might be a threat to humans in the future.
