I watched "The Interpreter" starring Nicole Kidman & Sean Penn last night. In this political thriller Kidman plays an interpreter with a dark past who by coincidence overhears an assassination plan against an African leader. She soon becomes a hunted target by the killers and gets protection by federal agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn). The movie was quite good, a little slow at times but great acting by Kidman and Penn.

Here's a few stills from the movie (thanks to Outnow for the poster picture):

Also, Blizzard released information about the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft at Blizzcon. Named The Burning Crusade, this expansion raise the level cap to 70, add two more playable races (one of the them are Bloodelves for the horde) and a new continent called the Outland. Read more about this Expansion at the Blizzard's WOW homepage or Gamespot's preview.

Saw II premieres tonight. I saw Saw (!) a couple of months ago and really liked the movie because it was original, scary and with an unpredictable plot. Saw I also got great reviews from both critics and people who saw it on the big screen.

In this sequel, instead of focus on two people locked in a room with only one unthinkable way out, there are eight strangers (unaware of their connection to each other) trapped inside an old house, where poisonous gas is being pumped into the circulation. They have less than two hours to find a way out before they start to die one by one.

So far the movie has gotten mixed reviews. It has a higher budget and bigger cast than the first one but we'll have to wait and see if that makes the movie better than Saw I.

The movie also features two of my all-time favourite actresses: Dina Meyer and Shawnee Smith (The only surviving victim from the first movie). Read more about the movie at the Saw II homepage.

I also found this photoshoot of Brittany Murphy. I don't know it's old or new but I post it anyway. If you like my blog, please also click on one of my google sponsor banners on top of the page. Thanks.

The 5 girls from "Girls Aloud" were in London a few days ago to launch their own Barbie Doll clothing selection. I don't like their music (or barbie dolls for that matter) but they definitely looks good on this photo session.
If you want to buy a doll you'll have to wait until Decemeber 1. The price is £7.99 each.

Visit their official homepage to find out more about the group.

One of the most eagerly awaited PC games this year was released yesterday. That's right, Call of Duty 2 is out. The original WW2 shooter came out in fall 2003 and became a smash hit over night with it's well designed campaign and great multiplayer support.

This sequel continues where the first game left off. The game is made up of 10 missions broken up in a couple of levels. War theathers in the game includes Stalingrad, North Africa and France.
Depending on the difficult setting, the game's length is around 10-15 hours. One of the gameplay changes in CoD2 is that health packs now are fewer and far between. Instead your character recover health automatically when you take cover and hide. Also, the traditional health bar is gone and instead the border of your screen gets more and more red when you take damage. Smoke grenades are also added in the game (see screenshot).

The multiplayer part of the game consist of deathmatch and capture-the-flag modes. Read Gamespot's review to find out more about the game.

Fox Network had a Casino Party two days ago to celebrate their returning fall TV-Series. Celebs seen on the party were to mention just a few Mischa Barton & Rachel Bilson (Both from O.C), Mila Kunis (That '70s Show) and Pamela Anderson. I found a few pictures from the event, so here we go:

Photoshoots, what can you say about them? Sometimes the original photos are so reproduced/repainted that you can't even recognise the person in them or sometimes they just show the person in an enviroment that they usually not are known to be in.

Take for instance this Carmen Electra photoshoot showing her in a new (or should I say old 40's - 50's) look. If she looks great or not, that's up to you to decide. I will continue to post more photoshoots in the future.
