I watched the movie Sahara starring Matthew McConaughey, Steve Zahn and Penélope Cruz yesterday. Filled with a lot of explosions and beautiful scenaries, this action-packed adventure was quite good. Cruz plays an U.N. scientist who investigates a disease killing numerous people in Nigeria and Mali. Together with McConaughey (who plays an explorer searching for the fate of a Civil War Ironclad) they travel deep into the desert looking for the source of the disease.

Well, I enjoyed the movie. Fast with tons of action sequences. The plot was a little bit ridicolous at times but overall it was acceptable.

Overall: Okay "Indiana Jones" kind of adventure. I give it a 7 out of 10.
