Scarlett Johansson - The Black Dahlia Photocall

Scarlett Johansson visited the Venice Film Festival yesterday to promote her new movie The Black Dahlia. The festival is held for the 63rd time and is the oldest film festival in the world (Golden Lions has been given out to film makers since 1934). Brian de Palma's Black Dahlia was this year's kick off film and besides starring Scarlett Johansson the movie also casts Josh Hartnett and Hilary Swank. Vanessa Anne Hudgens - Emmy Awards 2006

Singer and actress Vanessa Anne Hudgens attended the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards this weekend. She's most known for her roles in the movies Thirteen and Thunderbirds but she also appeared in Disney's High School Musical earlier this year.

Her debut album called V is out next month and contains the single "Come Back

58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

One of the biggest award shows of the year was held last night, when the Emmy Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. This year's winners were to name a few "24" (Best Drama Series), The Office (Best Comedy Series), Kiefer Sutherland (Lead Actor in a Drama Series - 24), Mariska Hargitay (Lead Actress in a Drama Series - "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit") and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Lead Actress in a Comedy Series) for her role in "The New Adventures of Old Christine".
