2008 Academy Awards - Arrivals Part I
The Coen brothers were last night's biggest winners when the 2008 Academy Awards was held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Their movie "No Country for Old Men" won four Oscars (including best movie). Other winners were to name a few Daniel Day-Lewis (Best actor in a leading role - "There Will Be Blood"), Marion Cotillard (Best actress in a leading role - "La Môme aka "La Vie en Rose"), Javier Bardem (Best actor in a supporting role - "No Country for Old Men") and Tilda Swinton (Best actress in a supporting role) for here role in "Michael Clayton". For a complete list of all winners and nominees, visit the official site.
But now over to the high quality pictures. I decided to focus on the red carpet arrivals simply because they were the best ones. I might post other HQ's from the various Oscar parties later in the week, if I have some spare time.
The first bunch of HQ's contains photos of winner Marion Cotillard, Anne Hathaway, Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, Katherine Heigl, Keri Russell, American TV presenter Samantha Harris and a few of English actress Rosamund Pike (mouse over for more info). Check back later for more pics.
