The 2006 Billboard Music Awards - Part I

The 2006 Billboard Music Awards was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last night. Winners are determined by actual performance on Billboard's charts (both sales and radio play). Last night was a successful one for Mary J. Blige who won nine awards (seven for dominating the R&B/hip hop category + Hot 100 airplay song of the year and Video clip of the year for "Be Without You"). Other big winners were rapper T.I. and country artist Carrie Underwood with five awards each. Newcomer Chris Brown scored three statuettes (new artist of the year, as well as artist and male artist of the year).

Performers included Janet Jackson, Gwen Stefani and Fergie & the Black Eyed Peas. For a complete list of yesterday's winners, go here. Visit Fox's Official Billboard site for more info about the awards. Here's a collection of pics from the event featuring Nelly Furtado, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and Katharine McPhee (mouse over for names).

most people don't think twice about consulting with a doctor
and making an appointment or even about going through the process
of the surgery itself, the status of the patient's skin after the
fact is often not taken into account
