The cup has been a success so far with great weather, exciting games and stadiums filled to the last seat. The round of 16 matches starts this Saturday when Germany plays Sweden. I'm not a big fan of Paris Hilton but I must admit she looks good on this Saturday Night Live photoshoot. She been quite busy lately working with both her self-titled debut album and in front of the camera in William Heins's movie Pledge This!. The album is out in August. The first single called Stars are Blind is out now.
Delta Airlines has teamed up with Henri Bendel (Manhattan's innovative, upscale Fifth Avenue retailer) to celebrate the largest international expansion in the company's history. From June 13 to June 26, the Bendel's first floor is transformed into a Delta-branded boutique filled with items such as limited-edition T-shirts and other clothes (featuring vintage Delta images and designed exclusively for Delta by JunkFood Clothing). I posted a few promos from Sandra Bullock's latest movie The Lake House yesterday. Here's a couple of high quality pics of her from the film's premiere two days ago. Some of them also feature Keanu Reeves. The movie opens up wide tomorrow. More information here.
Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock stars in the romantic drama The Lake House which opens up on Friday. Sandra plays a lonely doctor (Kate) who reluctantly moves out of a beautiful lakeside house she's been renting for some time and leaves a note for whoever moves in next asking that he or she forward her mail. An architect, Alex (Keanu Reeves) moves in and what starts with a simple note soon evolves to a series of love letters through the house's mailbox. They soon discover that the house is more special then they realized from the start. It somehow disturbs the pass of time; in Kate's world it's year 2006 and only 2004 in Alex's.
This is the second movie Keanu and Sandra has done together. The first was the 1994 blockbuster movie Speed. For more information about The Lake House, visit the official site. Here are a few high quality promos.
