The movie "The visiting" starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig is in production right now. This "body-snatching" kind of movie tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. Kidman plays a psychiatrist who discovers that the epidemic's origins are extraterrestrial and must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping an imminent invasion.

The movie is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. He filmed last year's critical acclaimed Der Untergang a.k.a The Downfall who is currently at number 55 on IMDB's top 250 all time greatest movies. The Visiting premieres in the first half of 2006.

I haven't found any stills or posters from the film yet but here's a couple of promo conference photos from earlier this fall.

Just a quick update tonight... I figured I needed a break from playing Civ 4. The game is as I predicted excellent and it's very hard to stop playing. If you aren't familiar with the game, check out the game's homepage or the read the review on Gamespot's site.

While surfing yesterday I found two promo posters of "Into the Blue" in great quality. I posted a few stills from the movie back in September before the movie was released. See them here.

This poster shows the four main characters in the movie (Ashley Scott as Amanda, Scott Caan as Bryce, Paul Walker as Jared and finally the beautiful Jessica Alba as Sam).

The latest AC Seven mix is out. Hard trance 65 contains as you can hence by it's name mixed trance tracks but also more commercial dance/eurodance songs. The mix is nicely put together and is made up by 26 tracks (including new songs from Cascada, Akira and Lacuna). The main reason for releasing this promo mix is for people to discover new artists and songs and then support them by bying their products. More info about AC Seven here.

MTV Europe Music Awards 2005 was held in Lisbon yesterday. The guys in Green Day were the night's kings with two awards (best rock song and album). Other winners were Shakira (best female artist), Robbie Williams (best male) and Coldplay for this year's best song (Speed of Sound). Most Wanted will be released later this month. The game continues the Need for Speed series and are being developed by the same team (EA Canada) that made the both Underground games. The game offers a career and a challenge mode plus the possibility to just choose a quick race. In the career mode you'll have to work your way up a list of 14 other drivers and end up being #1. The challenge mode contains 68 tracks with both time trials and races against other cars.

It's also great to see that some of the races are in daylight again, the Underground series offered only nighttime races and therefore some of the game's tracks looked the same way. Two new things in Most Wanted is the "speedbreaker," (a bullet-time effect that lets you slow the action down for a moment) and the possibility that you will be chased by local law enforcement.

The new Disney movie Chicken Little premieres in just two days. In this computer animated adventure a young chicken first causes panic when he predicts the end of the world and then later ends up help saving it when an alien attack occurs. Voices are made by Zach Braff (as chicken little), Don Knotts, Patrick Stewart and Steve Zahn to name but a few.

This is Disney's first 3D animated movie without Pixar and time will tell if this movie will be a hit or not when it opens up November 4th. More Chicken Little info here at the official homepage.

ABC's Desperate Housewives continues to be the second most popular TV-series in US after CSI (The Original one). The show is also very popular throughout the world competing against Lost for the top spot. The upcoming episode (Number 6, Season Two) is called "I Wish I Could Forget You" and airs this Sunday.
